Hi, I’m Dan.

I’ve had the pleasure of capturing weddings for over 10 years now. I’m based in North Yorkshire where I live with my wife and two (very energetic) children. I understand just how meaningful family moments are and being able to capture those connections on a wedding day is something I never take for granted.

Outside of shooting weddings I enjoy good music, pizza and rolling around at Jiu-Jitsu.

From a young age I’ve always had strong interest in storytelling and the importance of capturing memories.
I studied and earned a degree in Video Production at University and then moved to London where I worked at a Post Production house in the TV industry. While in the capital I also started directing and shooting my own projects. This led me to working on documentaries in some amazing places all over the world such as Hawaii, LA, New York, Miami,
São Paulo and even the Amazon Rainforest.

These experiences helped shape my documentary instincts — learning to observe patiently, anticipate moments, and capture stories as they naturally unfold.

My Approach

I’m a firm believer that your wedding day shouldn’t feel like a photo or video shoot.

My approach is relaxed, unobtrusive and documentary-led. Rather than staging moments or directing events, I prefer to work quietly in the background, allowing the day to unfold organically. I focus on observing what’s happening around me — the subtle interactions, the atmosphere in the room, the fleeting moments between people that might otherwise go unnoticed.

It’s these small, genuine moments that ultimately tell the story of your wedding day.

Unobtrusive style

I work discreetly and blend in seamlessly with your guests on a wedding day. For the most part you shouldn’t really notice I’m there.

Creating something timeless

Rather than keeping up with passing trends, I aim to create something that will still look beautiful decades from now. Focussing on good light and composition in every frame.

One of my favourite parts of the wedding to shoot is the party in the evening, when everyone finally lets loose on the dance floor. After the emotions and excitement of the day, it’s when the energy really shifts—friends and family together, music and everyone simply enjoying the moment. The atmosphere is always incredible, and it makes for some amazing footage.

My coverage doesn’t end when the First Dance does!
